RENERGY announces the launch of the first comprehensive digital map that consolidates all major renewable energy generation units connected to the Premier Energy Distribution, RED Nord and Moldelectrica networks in the Republic of Moldova.
Until now, information about renewable generation assets has been scattered across multiple operator websites, often difficult to locate, compare or interpret. The new platform from RENERGY provides a single, integrated interface that brings structure and clarity to Moldova’s renewable energy landscape, offering a practical resource for developers, engineers, investors and anyone following the evolution of green energy in the country.

Accessible at www.renergy.md/greenmap, the map displays photovoltaic power plants, net-metering installations, wind parks and biomass projects, each represented through a distinct color-coded visualization. The platform enables users to explore the national territory both geographically and thematically, making the distribution, scale and composition of renewable projects easy to understand.
“Our objective was to make sector data accessible and actionable,” said Vlad Burac, CEO of Renergy. “This map helps professionals and the general public see, in seconds, where renewable projects are located, how they are distributed and how fast the sector is developing.”
The platform features a streamlined sidebar with intuitive filters. A regional search field lets users type in a locality—such as Călărași or Bălți—and the map instantly centers on that area, displaying all renewable generation units present. Additional technology filters—solar, wind, biomass and net-metering—allow for targeted analysis tailored to specific project interests or development strategies.
Beyond generation facilities, the map also includes the national grid layout, offering a clear view of the main electrical lines. This combined display of assets and infrastructure supports feasibility assessment and planning, enabling project developers and design engineers to understand proximity to grid connection points and evaluate development opportunities with greater precision.
A dedicated capacity summary module highlights the latest installed capacity figures validated through connection permits issued by the operators. This information is consolidated, verified and updated monthly, offering a valuable indicator for developers, consultants and investors who monitor capacity trends and the pace of new project approvals.
The map will expand with new functionality such as a cadastral layer for faster site analysis, updated monthly capacity allocations for each operator and additional tools to support planning, permitting and strategic decision-making. RENERGY aims to establish this platform as the reference digital map for Moldova’s renewable energy ecosystem.
